This is my latest book – The Christmas Dog Sitters.
At Christmas, all you need is love… but sometimes it takes a mischievous spaniel to help you find it.
Rachel is struggling. Navigating the loss of her best friend Olivia, heartbroken by her ex-boyfriend and recently made redundant, the impending holiday season is the last thing she wants to think about.
Her rich sister Maddie suggests that Rachel dog-sits her spaniel Humphrey in her luxurious country house in a quaint village in Surrey. However, Rachel is soon manipulated into caring for her elderly Grandpa Eric, too.
Between flight-risk Humphrey and rebellious Grandpa Eric, Rachel uncovers family truths, discovers a secretive west wing… and must cook Christmas dinner for an entire village.
Amidst the chaos, Rachel meets handsome builder Ben. Working at the house, he’s also no stranger to loss, but is willing to re-enter the dating scene – albeit with a six-year-old daughter in tow. Can Rachel and Ben find their way through grief at this tricky time of year?
And when a snowstorm threatens to ruin Christmas for everyone, can Rachel and Humphrey unite the community?
“The Christmas Dog Sitters” is not just a heartwarming festive comedy; it’s a tale of love, loss, and the journey of finding one’s own path, written by the bestselling author of “The Car Share.”
“This was a heartwarming and funny story. Gorgeous characters and some crazy but funny story lines. Just the sort of book to get you into the Christmas spirit. The first book I have read by Lucy but it certainly won’t be the last.” (Amazon reader)
“The drama, crazy family, every emotion possible. A brilliant read for anyone who wants to be transported out of your body so much so you forget where you are and don’t hear anyone talking to you-that might be just my experience but I’m so glad I stumbled on this author. On to all her other books can’t wait 🙂 thanks Lucy” (Amazon reader)

Hi Lucy! You entered the giveaway on my blog for the books Awoken Dragon and Fallen Balance, and you won their signed copies. For the details of me sending/signing the books, could you send me a message through the contact form on my blog on the About-page? Thank you and congratulations!
Yay!!!!! Definitely!
There was something wrong with the contact form so if you already sent the message, it disappeared.. Could you send me the message to draconnairia [at] live [dot] fi? So sorry for the hassle, I only just realized the form was eating messages instead of delivering them to me

Hi Lucy,
Rich here from wafflemethis quite a while ago I had a challenge running “one liner story” and I lost track of it. The last point I can trace it to is Candice Nominated you for the next line.
But I can’t recall if you entered one or if so who you nominated next.
Could you let me know please. Thank you
Rich
Check out the last post here https://wafflemethis.wordpress.com/2015/10/25/one-liner-update-11/

Well, when you do, look me up! Cheers!
