#BookReview Someday in Paris by Olivia Lara & Giveaway #romance

Don’t you just love a book which takes you on a rollercoaster ride of emotions?

This book is such a powerful read, it will leave you breathless and whispering, this should be a film. I have spent many an hour gazing out of the window and thinking about what it would be like to see this book turned into a film. Don’t get me started on my thoughts about which famous people should be invited along for casting!

Here’s the blurb:

Finding the one is only the beginning…

Zara is fifteen the first time she meets Leon. During a power cut in a small French museum, the two spend one short hour in the dark talking about their love for art, Monet and Paris. Neither knows what the other looks like. Both know their lives will never be the same.

In Paris, Leon no longer believes he will ever find the girl he lost that night. After dreaming about him for years, Zara thinks she has already found him. When they meet at an exhibition, they don’t recognise each other – yet the way they feel is so familiar…

Over the course of twenty years, Zara and Leon are destined to fall in love again and again.

But will they ever find a way to be together?

‘An epic, sweeping romance about soulmates and second chances’ Holly Miller

‘An absolutely unforgettable love story’ Mandy Baggot

‘A deeply moving, richly evocative story of love, loss and the power of hope’ Miranda Dickinson.

Here’s my review

If you want a breathtaking epic love story than this book is for you.

From the moment Zara and Leon met in the dark museum in 1954 I was hooked.

Zara and Leon’s love story spans decades and as with any epic love story there are missed opportunities, letters, accidents, jealousy, moments of intense pain, magical elation and tear inducing romance.

Warning – this book will wrap itself around your heart.

I loved how the encounter in the museum transformed their lives and I loved how they couldn’t forget about each other despite following separate life paths. The author does play with your emotions as you do start to worry that these two are just not meant to be together.

The book will take you on a wonderful journey, from France, England and to America.

I thought this book was magical. A fabulous story which will have you hooked straightaway. This book will wrap itself around your heart and it will be a struggle to let it go.
